Construction Manager – West

Parshall, ND, March 13, 2023 – Over the last few years, RTC Networks’ footprint has substantially grown. In January of 2022, Midstate Telephone LLC and Midstate Communication, Inc. were acquired expanding our service area to serve cities including:  Stanley, Beach, and Medora. RTC Networks is also currently bringing fiber internet to underserved areas of McKenzie County in ND, Wibaux and Richland counties in Montana thanks in large part to several grants awarded through the USDA’s RDOF and ReConnect Program. With the growth have come additional operational duties, which is why on March 13, 2023, RTC Networks added a Construction Manager role in the west.

Tim Jarski will continue as construction manager for the east and will be responsible for the following exchanges: Parshall, New Town, Mandaree, Ross, Plaza, Makoti, Douglas, Ryder, Garrison, Norma, Spencer, Kenmare, Max and Stanley. Dave Uhlich has been promoted and has joined RTC Networks’ management team with the title: Construction Manager-West. Dave is responsible for the following exchanges: Watford City, Keene, Arnegard, Alexander, The Gap, Beach, and Medora. Dave will also oversee the towns and areas around Wibaux, MT and Fairview, MT, after the planned fiber construction for those areas has been completed.

Dave has been very dedicated for the past 19 years as a Technician and Coordinator and has demonstrated the leadership required for this new role.”

Dave is an Army Veteran, and he attended Dickinson State. Dave started at RTC Networks in 2004 as a Combination Tech. He was later promoted to the position of Combination Tech Lead, and then further to Combination Tech Coordinator. He lives in Watford City with his wife, Roxie. He has two children: Tyler and Jayden.  Dave is the Watford City Fire Chief, and he has been with the department for 22 years. Dave enjoys time with his family attending Minnesota Wild hockey games, concerts, and summers in the backyard.
